Ten Hag awaiting return of attacker: Manchester United team news for Sunday’s clash with West Ham

Manchester United’s team news ahead of Sunday’s trip to the London Stadium to take on West Ham United. Kick-off is at 7pm.

Erik ten Hag is currently awaiting the return of Alejandro Garnacho, as are all United supporters.

The Argentinian’s skilful flair, speed and creativity have been sorely missed in his absence, as he has been out of action since March 12 with an ankle injury.

Ten Hag gave an update on the youngster’s potential involvement ahead of the game, saying (via the Man Utd website): “I have to see. Maybe he can be involved but we will have to see how the progress can go.”

Aside from Garnacho, it seems as though the squad will be exactly the same as the one that travelled to face Brighton and Hove Albion last night, and we’re hoping for a considerably better outcome on the road this weekend.

Ten Hag given fitness boost

Scott McTominay and Raphael Varane remain sidelined, though the latter’s return is looming; Ten Hag recently suggested that the Frenchman may return in time for United’s home meeting with Wolverhampton Wanderers next Saturday, May 13.
