Sancho starts again: confirmed Man United line-up vs Aston Villa

Erik ten Hag has named his starting line-up for Sunday’s visit of Aston Villa, with the Dutchman looking to get his side back on the winning track after a disappointing draw at Tottenham Hotspur earlier this week.

Manchester United went into half-time with a two-goal advantage but a second-half collapse allowed Tottenham to get back into the game and ensure the points were shared.

Ten Hag will be looking to create some daylight between his side and the Champions League hopefuls, with a victory over Aston Villa going a long way towards doing that.

Jadon Sancho starts again after his impressive outing at Spurs, with his fine strike in the first half earning him another place in the first eleven.

The 23-year-old makes up an attack of Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes. Rashford has the chance to reach 30 goals for the season and thus become the first United player to reach that elusive landmark since Robin van Persie did so in the 2012/13 season.

Further back, Casemiro is partnered by Christian Eriksen and Marcel Sabitzer in midfield and Luke Shaw continues to play at centre-back alongside Victor Lindelof.

Tyrell Malacia returns to the side despite a troublesome couple of weeks, with Diogo Dalot starting on the other flank.

Confirmed Manchester United line-up (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Dalot, Lindelof, Shaw, Malacia; Casemiro, Eriksen; Sabitzer, Fernandes, Sancho; Rashford
