Manchester United’s Premier League clash against Chelsea has been rearranged with a new date and kick-off time confirmed.

The game was originally postponed after United reached the FA Cup semi-finals, but the Premier League has now rescheduled the fixture, as confirmed by the official Manchester United website.

Frank Lampard’s side will come to Old Trafford on Thursday 25 May for a 20:00 BST kick-off, which will be United’s penultimate game of the league campaign.

Hopefully the Reds will be secured a place in the Premier League’s top four by then. Meanwhile, Chelsea will have nothing to play for.

Casemiro scored a looping stoppage-time header to give United a deserved point in the October clash. However, at this point of the season, Chelsea were above United in the league table so a lot has changed since then.

Sky Sports have broadcasting rights to show the game like, as was the case when United travelled to Stamford Bridge earlier this season.

It’s a shame the game wasn’t moved to the Wednesday night instead, but they never make these decisions with the fans in mind.

Even though they are fully aware that football is nothing without the fans.
