Pope Francis was given a framed signed shirt of Lisandro Martinez upon several Greater Manchester leaders’ visit to The Vatican on Thursday, April 20.
Greater Manchester civic leaders, including mayor Andy Burnham, and members of the faith community travelled to The Vatican to discuss their ongoing efforts in the climate crisis.
It is the first time all the faith leaders have gathered, as they pledged their commitment to making Greater Manchester more green.
Chris Trott and Manchester Cathedral shared several updates of the special day on social media, one of which included a picture of Burnham giving Pope Francis a gift – a signed Martinez shirt!
