Erik ten Hag has outlined what he wants from Manchester United this afternoon.

The Red Devils have made the trip to the East Midlands to take on 18th-placed Nottingham Forest in a Premier League clash. Kick-off is at 4.30pm.

United have the chance to oversee a third consecutive win and clean sheet against the survival-chasing side, though Ten Hag must navigate the injuries of Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane and Marcus Rashford.

The Tricky Trees will be roared on by their faithful supporters at The City Ground, who are doing everything in their power to keep their club in the top flight after spending 23 years out of it.

Ahead of the match, Ten Hag sent a message to his players detailing what he expects of them today.

“We have to show more personality, play the game, play in our principles and rules – stick to that. Don’t get distracted by anyone or anything… not by the away fans or by the away opponents, not by bad decisions from referees. No, focus on the job you have to do as a team.”
