A Premier League predictor has given Manchester United a 92% chance of finishing in the top four.

In the predicted table shared by Sky Sports and provided by Opta, the Red Devils are fourth behind Arsenal, Manchester City and Newcastle United.

This weekend has provided a lucrative chance for United to capitalise on their rivals’ losses and cement their place in the Champions League spots. Third-placed Newcastle suffered a 3-0 defeat to a rampant Aston Villa in the Midlands, so United can move up to third with a win this afternoon against Nottingham Forest.

As well as that, fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur conceded an injury-time goal to Bournemouth to round off a shock 3-2 win for the Cherries. Should United win, they’ll hold a six-point advantage over Spurs having played one less game.

Today’s match is a must-win

Erik ten Hag’s side must overcome their trip to The City Ground though and see out a victory. Forest are 18th and desperately seeking survival, so the Trees will put up a real fight on their home turf in front of their faithful supporters.
