Brighton and Hove Albion will be without two key players when they take on Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-final next Sunday, April 23.

The Red Devils will be making the trip to Wembley for the second time this season after tasting Carabao Cup success back in February.

Now though, it’s for FA Cup action and the competition provides a real chance to add more silverware to the cabinet in Erik ten Hag’s first season.

It certainly won’t come easy though, as United are winless against the Seagulls since February 2022, having suffered two consecutive Premier League losses in their recent meetings.

Brighton have been exceptional this season and Roberto De Zerbi has the Seagulls flying up the league table, with their sights firmly set on finishing in the European places.

Both sides face injury woes

De Zerbi will, however, have to navigate the injuries of both Evan Ferguson and Joel Veltman, according to The Athletic.

Ten Hag has suffered injury blows of his own though, as the Red Devils look set to be without Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane, whilst Marcus Rashford’s return to action is still unconfirmed.
