Erik ten Hag has given his verdict on Manchester United’s upcoming opponents Nottingham Forest.
The Red Devils will travel to the East Midlands to take on Forest at The City Ground in a crunch Premier League clash this Sunday, April 16. Kick-off is at 4.30pm.
Heading into the fixture, the Trees find themselves in the bottom three and chasing survival in one of the most exhilarating relegation scraps we’ve seen for years. They sit 18th placed on 27 points, meanwhile, United are fourth and have their sights firmly set on achieving Champions League football next season.
The clubs have met three times already this campaign; twice in the Carabao Cup and the reverse league fixture at Old Trafford. All of these have been wins for Erik ten Hag’s side, resulting in an aggregate score of 8-0.
Ten Hag on Forest
The manager weighed in on Forest at his pre-match press conference and how they fare heading into Sunday.
He said (via the club website): “I know what place they are [in] and we know what we can expect on Sunday. They are in survival mode and they will run for their lives. We have to be ready for that game.”
They must keep that in mind and know how to score more goals i mean to be clinical in front of the goal.
