Marcus Rashford sent a message to Manchester United fans on social media following the confirmation of his injury setback.
Rashford was forced off the pitch in the closing stages of last weekend’s Premier League clash with Everton at Old Trafford, which sparked significant concern among supporters.
Following a scan, it was confirmed that Rashford would be sidelined for the club’s forthcoming matches, including tonight’s Europa League quarter-final first leg. His current return date is unknown.
The forward is United’s top goalscorer of the season so far with an impressive 28 goals to his tally. Next in line is Bruno Fernandes with 10 goals, so it’s highly unlikely anyone will catch up to Rashford in his absence.
Rashford reacts to injury setback
United’s Twitter account updated fans after Erik ten Hag had addressed the media regarding his star man, and the England international was quick to send a determined message himself.
He replied: “I’m working hard with the physio to get back asap! See you soon.”
