Manchester United have a better idea of how long they will be without Marcus Rashford.

The 25-year-old has been ruled out for a “few games” after being sustaining a groin injury in United’s 2-0 win over Everton on Saturday.

Rashford went down in the second half and had to be substituted before walking straight down the tunnel at Old Trafford.

Manchester United have announced the news as they delivered an update on their squad ahead of Thursday night’s Europa League clash with Sevilla.

It sounds like Rashford could miss both legs in the Europa League quarter-finals.

“Marcus Rashford will be unavailable for Thursday’s UEFA Europa League quarter-final game against Sevilla because of a muscle injury. The forward was withdrawn in the 80th minute of Saturday’s 2-0 Premier League win over Everton at Old Trafford and immediately headed to the dressing room for treatment,” a statement from the club read via ManUtd.com.

“Subsequent assessment of the injury suggested that Marcus will be unavailable for a few games, but is expected to be back for the season run-in. The England international’s absence is a disappointment given his red-hot form this season, with 28 goals in all competitions.”

This means Ten Hag will make changes to United’s line-up tomorrow night. I suspect we’ll see an attacking trio of Antony, Anthony Martial and Jadon Sancho.

Ten Hag will speak to the press at 12:30.
