Two Reds made WhoScored’s Premier League Team of the Week after their stellar performances against Everton.
Manchester United saw out a comfortable 2-0 victory at Old Trafford to strenghten their grip on the top four. Goals from Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial secured the three points in a dominant display from the Reds.
However, the goalscorers were not rated highly enough to make WhoScored’s XI, and it was instead defenders Tyrell Malacia and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Reds impress with Everton display
Wan-Bissaka started the match after missing the two previous games through illness and put in an excellent shift like so many others of his this season, which is likely why he has seemingly moved up in Erik ten Hag’s estimations. He is now often preferred to Diogo Dalot.
Malacia replaced the injured Luke Shaw in the starting line-up and like always, the Dutchman does not put a foot wrong when called upon.
The pair kept Everton’s attackers quiet throughout the whole 90 minutes and picked up a crucial clean sheet.
