Lisandro Martinez dropped to his knees after Anthony Martial doubled Manchester United’s lead over Everton on Saturday.
The Argentina international has quickly become a fans’ favourite at Old Trafford and it’s not hard to see why.
Martinez is already one of the best defenders in the Premier League and the sheer passion he has brought to the team has been felt throughout the season.
After starting an attack in defence, Martinez gets the ball forward and finds Marcus Rashford in a dangerous position before the England international squared the ball to Martial.
We were never in doubt as the ball was sent across the box, but Martial’s finish led to a brilliant reaction from Martinez.

The Argentine dropped to his knees with relief written across his face because the 2-0 lead was enough to seal the win.
