Manchester United cruised past the survival-chasing Toffees yesterday in a 2-0 win at Old Trafford.

Despite netting two goals thanks to Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial, the win could’ve easily been by five or six if the players had their shooting boots on.

Jordan Pickford again proved why he’s England’s No.1, as he was easily Everton’s Man of the Match after his countless saves kept the Toffees in the tie until the Red Devils eventually found a breakthrough.

A lack of clinical edge in front of goal only further proved Erik ten Hag’s need for a prolific striker in the summer.

Still, a win’s a win and the three points were crucial to United’s position in the top-four race. Keeping momentum high this month is also key, as the fixtures on the horizon over the next few weeks are season-defining.
