Manchester United have been fined £65,000 for the players’ behaviour during the FA Cup quarter-final with Fulham on March 19.
The news was confirmed this afternoon by an FA Spokesperson on Twitter in a Regulation and Discipline update.

The incident came in the 71st minute of the tie when the Red Devils were trailing 1-0. Jadon Sancho’s shot was handled by Willian on the goalline, stopping a certain goal, and the Reds surrounded the referee in order to ensure the decision was given in their favour.
Fulham forward given lengthy ban
A penalty was ultimately awarded following a VAR check, which also sparked outrage in Fulham boss Marco Silva and forward Aleksandar Mitrovic, who were both brandished a red card for their behaviour, as well as Willian for the initial handball.
The Serbian has since been dealt an eight-game ban due to his reckless behaviour on the pitch, which involved him pushing referee Chris Kavanagh.
United reportedly admitted that they failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly manner.
