(Video) Thomas Frank ranks trip to Old Trafford as ‘potentially the most difficult game’

Brentford boss Thomas Frank is aware of how difficult tonight’s clash with Manchester United will be.

United sit fifth-placed in the Premier League despite spending a large majority of the campaign firmly cemented in third. They are, however, winless and goalless in three league games, so bouncing back is crucial for Erik ten Hag tonight.

On the other hand, the Bees are flying this season and are dreaming of the lucrative, and achievable, prospect of European football. They have tasted defeat just once in their last 15 matches and are currently ninth, though they can move to seventh with a win.

Ahead of kick-off, Frank spoke to the media about the challenge that awaits his team at a packed Old Trafford.

This is potentially the most difficult game for us in the season. Man United, they have to bounce back from the last defeat to Newcastle. We all know that we beat them in August and they have to bounce back from that. They have only lost one here [Old Trafford] all season, that was the first game of the season. I think Erik, the staff and his players have done a top job. So this will be unbelievably difficult. But, of course, we trust ourselves and believe that we can do something.”
