(Video) Luke Shaw sparks hamstring injury concerns with early substitution during Brentford clash

Erik ten Hag was forced into an early substitution during tonight’s clash with Brentford.

Luke Shaw was replaced by Tyrell Malacia around the 35th-minute mark after reportedly feeling a pull on his hamstring during the first half-hour of action.

The left-back went straight down the tunnel following the substitution, as per Simon Peach.

The Englishman continued for a few minutes as Malacia warmed up on the touchline, but Ten Hag opted to take no risks and remove Shaw from the match.

It comes as a big concern for supporters as Shaw has been in fine form this season, hence why he was recently rewarded with an extended contract that will keep him at Old Trafford until 2027.
