Erik ten Hag’s patience wearing thin with Jadon Sancho

Erik ten Hag is said to be growing increasingly frustrated by Jadon Sancho.

In his first season, we knew Ten Hag would be analysing the squad from top to bottom. That way when the transfer window opens he can decide which players need to moved on.

United’s financial records make for ugly reading, with a frightening debt hanging over the club as well as FFP concerns. That leaves Ten Hag with no other choice but to axe a few of the current players.

Moreover, United can be accused of holding onto players for too long. Phil Jones is the most obvious example.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Ten Hag is pushing for United to become more ruthless when it comes to letting players leave.

Harry Maguire, Brandon Williams, Alex Telles and Anthony Martial are set to be transfer listed, as will Eric Bailly if the Ivorian centre-back fails to hit the appearance milestone on loan at Marseille.

The report also states that offers are welcome for back-up goalkeeper Dean Henderson, while Ten Hag is becoming ‘increasingly impatient’ with Jadon Sancho.

Sancho has made just five starts in as many months and he is not having enough of an impact on the games he plays in. It’s up to him to take the opportunities he gets between now and the end of the season.

Moreover, United are not planning for the sale of Scott McTominay, despite reported interest from Newcastle.

Let us know in the comments section if you would keep Sancho in the summer.
