Manchester United right-back Ethan Laird could make his return from injury when Queens Park Rangers face Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

The game takes place at the DW Stadium but Laird, who joined QPR on a season-long loan deal last August, has been ruled out of acton since mid-February due to a hamstring injury.

Manager Gareth Ainsworth has given an update on Laird, as per West London Sport: “We’re still carrying some injuries but the great news is Leon Balogun, Ethan Laird and Chris Willock coming through that game {B team fixture] well and they will be in contention this weekend.”

We wish Laird the very best on his return.
