Manchester United have announced the shortlist for March’s Goal of the Month.
Club action for the men’s team drew to a close two weeks ago for the final international break of the season.
Before the break, the Reds booked their place in the Europa League quarter-finals and FA Cup semi-finals, in which they will face Sevilla and Brighton and Hove Albion respectively.
They return to Premier League action this Sunday, April 2 for an away clash with Newcastle United at St. James’ Park – a match that will be crucial to this campaign’s top-four battle.
For the women, they continued business as normal throughout the international break and remain in first place in the Women’s Super League, though it’s a tight race, as Manchester City are level on points in second.
They also progressed to the FA Cup semi-finals and drew the same fate as the men – they too will face Brighton in the next round of the competition.
