Man United vs Brighton FA Cup semi-final date & time announced

Manchester United are preparing to play Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup semi-final for a chance to book a place in their second major final of the season.

Having beaten Fulham 3-1 at Old Trafford in the competition’s quarter-finals earlier in the month, Manchester United set up a mouth-watering all-Premier League clash against Roberto De Zerbi’s Seagulls for some time in April.

And now, according to Manchester Evening News, the two teams, who will play at Wembley Stadium, are set to meet on Sunday 23 April.

Cross-town rivals Manchester City, who will play against Championship side Sheffield United in the other semi-final, will square off the day before on Saturday 22 April.

A winner in both matches is required so should either or both semi-finals end in a draw after 90 minutes, extra time and then penalties, should a winner still not be decided, will follow.

The time of kick-off for both games has not yet been confirmed.
