(Video) Anthony Elanga shows blistering pace to score in Sweden’s 5-0 win

Sweden picked up their first win of the Euro 2024 qualifying campaign with a 5-0 win over Azerbaijan.

Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof played 90 minutes, while Anthony Elanga got just three minutes but it was enough to get on the scoresheet.

Elanga showed blistering pace to get away from the last man back after a brilliant first touch. He gets around the goalkeeper before slotting the ball into the back of the net.

Elanga’s goal made it 5-0 in Sweden’s favour.

The result means Azerbaijan have lost their first two matches of the qualifying campaign, and it looks like they could be Group F’s whipping boys.

It’s always good to see our players score on international duty and come back without any niggles or injuries.

Lindelof and Elanga haven’t played a lot of football this season and they could benefit from the extra minutes over the ‘break’.
