Manchester United see two Premier League fixtures amended in May

Manchester United have had two Premier League fixtures rescheduled for the final month of the season.

First up is an away trip to the Amex to face Brighton and Hove Albion, which was initially scheduled for March 19, but both sides’ FA Cup progression forced a postponement.

The reverse fixture was United’s first of the 2022/2023 campaign and ended 2-1 in the Seagulls’ favour, so Erik ten Hag will be keen to avenge the loss this time around.

The Premier League have confirmed that the away fixture with Brighton will take place on Thursday, May 4 at the Amex and kick-off is at 8pm. It will be broadcast on Sky Sports.

They will also face each other in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at Wembley on April 22.

United’s trip to face West Ham

As well as that, United’s away clash with West Ham United was due to play out on Saturday, May 6, though that will now move to the following day on May 7 at 7pm, with BT Sport covering the clash in the capital.

In October, the Reds overturned the Hammers 1-0 at Old Trafford thanks to a goal from Marcus Rashford – the 100th of his career.
