Marcel Sabitzer was left beaming after registering his first goal for Manchester United – and what a crucial goal it was!
The Austrian completed United’s emphatic five-minute turnaround that sent them on their way to the FA Cup semi-finals.
Aleksandar Mitrovic opened the scoring early in the first-half but Willian’s handball on the goalline led to United being awarded a spot-kick (as well as Fulham being brandished three red cards) that was swiftly converted by Bruno Fernandes.
Just a minute later, Sabitzer pulled off a tidy backheel finish to poke the Reds in front, before Fernandes made it 3-1 in injury time.

Post-match, Sabitzer reacted to United booking their place at Wembley whilst speaking to ITV.
“Massive win, we wanted to go back to Wembley, we did it. 1-0 down [it was] hard and tough but we came back and yeah, it was a good one.”
Q. “I’m wondering if you won that or Fulham lost it?”
“We won it. Why not? We scored three, they scored one. We were concentrated, focused… I think a deserved win. In the first half, some chances we missed and second half 1-0 down but, as I said, we came back and that’s the important thing.”
Q. “Any doubt that it was a handball that led to the penalty?”
“Haven’t seen it so the referee decided handball, we’re good with it.”
On scoring his first goal at Old Trafford, Sabitzer added: “Massive! I’m so happy. Important one – 2-1, so yeah, I’m very, very happy now”
"Very happy, it was an important goal for the team!"
