Harry Redknapp thinks Harry Kane is now settled at Tottenham Hotspur and that joining Manchester United would not offer the striker a guarantee of winning trophies.

The prospect of Kane moving to Manchester United in the summer has multiple hurdles. The Reds know that dealing with Daniel Levy is always a task, Mauricio Pochettino could return in the summer, and Kane still has a decision to make over a new contract at Tottenham.

Furthermore, a report earlier this week stressed that the Spurs hierarchy have no intention of selling their star striker even if they were to fail to make the top four.

Redknapp has now suggested that Kane is now really well settled off the pitch and that he might not be as keen to leave as he was in 2021 when Man City came knocking on the door for his signature.

The former Tottenham Hotspur manager told talkSPORT (via HITC): “I think he [Levy] will get him [Kane] to sign another contract, wouldn’t he?

“I don’t think he will be mad-keen to move now. He wanted to go to Manchester City. I think he would have gone to Man City two years ago.

“But I just got a feeling now. He is moving to a new house. I just think he’s a big fish there, isn’t he?!

“His contract is amazing. He is a family man. He has a game of golf. I just don’t think he will move.”

When asked how close United are from competing for major honours, Redknapp responded: “I still think Man United is a fair way, way away. I don’t think their results.

“I just get the feeling he will stay. He is happy there and his life is good.”

Suffered dropped points in the Premier League this evening, drawing 3-3 with Southampton. The result comes as another blow in their quest for a top four finish.
