Manchester United youngster Facundo Pellistri has thanked fans after making his full club debut yesterday.
The 21-year-old was named in United’s starting line-up for the first time since joining in 2020.
It came after making several impressive cameos off the bench, as Pellistri has made five appearances as a substitute this season.
Erik ten Hag is keen on giving youth players more opportunities to prove themselves in the senior setup and the Uruguayan has certainly benefitted from the manager’s philosophy.
Pellistri thanks fans
After the Reds booked their place in the Europa League quarter-finals, Pellistri sent a message to fans via the club’s Twitter, saying: “Thank you to the fans today, you were amazing. I’m really happy to play here. Thank you for your support – let’s go Manchester!”
