Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag could launch a pursuit for Lille youngster Carlos Baleba as he looks to add some depth to his squad in the summer. The report claims United are among several Premier League clubs interested in signing Lille’s Carlos Baleba.
Baleba, 19, has impressed for the French side this season, making 18 appearances in all competitions.
The young Cameroonian midfielder has burst onto the scene with Lille this season.
A starlet renowned for progressive carries, Baleba could be seen as a fall-back option if United are unsuccessful (again) in their attempts to sign Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong. Or maybe even an alternative to Jude Bellingham, who is likely to cost an arm and a leg this season.
