Manchester United eye move for Real Madrid midfielder

Eduardo Camavinga Real Madrid

Reports from Spain suggest Manchester United are interested in Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga.

The 20-year-old lifted five trophies in his first season with Los Blancos; the Champions League, La Liga, Super Cup, Club World Cup and Supercopa de Espana.

He has, however, been linked with a move away from Spain due to Real’s ongoing interest in sought-after Jude Bellingham, which has led to speculation that Camavinga’s place in the team may be under threat.

United’s interest in Camavinga

According to Fichajes.net, the Red Devils are keen on acquiring the Frenchman to bolster their midfield alongside the experienced Casemiro, who just arrived at Old Trafford last summer from the Bernabeu and has since been exceptional.

The report says: “United are still pining for the acquisition of the French international. What’s more, at Old Trafford they are willing to burn their ships for Camavinga. All this, by the way, from a proposal that would rise to a whopping €130 million.”

However, Carlo Ancelotti and the Real hierarchy are reportedly unwilling to depart with the young midfielder and they would certainly demand a large fee to let go of him.
