Manchester United will take the short trip to Merseyside this weekend to face Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, March 5.
The Red Devils enter the game in fine form; third place in the Premier League and strong contenders to win both the FA Cup and Europa League, having already lifted the Carabao Cup.
Liverpool, on the other hand, have overseen a dismal season so far. They sit sixth-placed in the table, out of both cup competitions and have a three-goal deficit to overturn at the Bernabeu if they want a chance at any European glory.
However, such matters mean very little when two rivals come head-to-head, especially when those two are the most successful clubs in England.
The prospect of a league double against Jurgen Klopp’s side is on the cards for United, having seen out a triumphant 2-1 victory at Old Trafford back in August.
Predicted Manchester United XI
De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Shaw; Casemiro, Sabitzer; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Weghorst.
Regarding Mason Greenwood. The young man has had his charges dropped. I think that Eric Ten Hag should have a good chat with him about his mental health and if he really wants to stay at the club. If he says yes. ,then I believe in the saying, everyone deserves a second chance. If Mason needs therapy so be it. But he should be back next season as he is still a very talented player
Appreciate your comment
Further to Tom comments. He is still very young and such opportunity should remain with Manchẹsta United. The New environment can impact on him positively. We should continue òur development. The Team’s target should always be the highest price. Thank you.
