Arsenal legend Ian Wright believes Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has been the signing of the season.
Manchester United ended their longest trophy drought in 40 years at Wembley on Sunday, beating Newcastle 2-0 in the Carabao Cup final, and we are still in with a chance of winning two other clubs (FA Cup and Europa League).
Casemiro was influential as ever in Sunday’s win, too.
Not only did he offer protection in front of the back four, the Brazilian opened the scoring with a header in the first-half.
As a result, Casemiro earned a lot of praise over the weekend. Ian Wright hailed the midfielder after his performance at Wembley.
