And speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the mouth-watering game, manager Erik Ten Hag has reaffirmed that this current United squad can win trophies.

“They are really enjoying it, they’re looking forward [to the final],” the Dutchman said.

“You can feel it and everyone wants to show it that this team can win trophies.”
