Manchester United defender Phil Jones has appeared as a pundit on Sky Sports’ punditry team despite his teammates preparing to take on Newcastle United in the EFL Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
Jones, still under contract at United, has failed to feature at all this season with injuries and fitness problems plaguing him for several seasons.
However, despite being an active member of the Red Devils’ squad, the English centre-back has opted for punditry duties instead of staying behind the scenes and supporting his teammates.
