Lisandro Martinez has become an instant fan-favourite amongst the Old Trafford faithful.
Last night, the Argentinian displayed another colossal performance at centre-back as Manchester United saw off fellow European heavyweights Barcelona with a 2-1 win (4-3 aggregate) at the Theatre of Dreams.
After serving a one-match suspension in the first leg, he retook his place alongside Raphael Varane in defence and the two yet again proved why they are the strongest defensive partnership in world football right now.
Post-match and after spending a lengthy time celebrating the triumphant victory with his teammates and fans in the stadium, he stayed outside until midnight in the classic Manchester rain to meet, take pictures and sign merchandise for supporters.
