Manchester United put price tag on Scott McTominay ahead of summer

One player regularly linked with a move away from Manchester United is Scott McTominay. The Scotland international has made 24 appearances this season, but he has fallen down the pecking order since losing his place in the starting line-up.

McTominay is still a valued member of the squad. He’s been injured lately but Ten Hag has no problem bringing him off the bench in games – doing so 9 times in the Premier League.

According to Football Insider, United are willing to listen to offers for the 26-year-old midfielder in the summer, when they could look to offload several players as Ten Hag looks to improve his squad.

The report states United are confident that they can offload McTominay for £25 million due to his experience in the Premier League.

There was reported interest from Newcastle in January, although a deal never materialised. It was understood that United did not want to strengthen a domestic rival midway through the season when Ten Hag already values McTominay as a squad player.
