Confirmed Manchester United line-up vs Leicester City: Lindelof starts

Erik ten Hag has made some changes to his Manchester United line-up for today’s Premier League encounter against Leicester City.

The Dutchman will lead his team into a second leg against Barcelona on Thursday night before his first final as United manager three days later against Newcastle in the Carabao Cup.

David de Gea keeps his place between the sticks. The Spaniard is close to making even more history at the club, with Peter Schmeichel’s long-standing clean-sheets record now within his grasp. De Gea is currently one shut-out away from equalling Schmiechel’s record of 180 clean-sheets.

In defence, we see some changes with Diogo Dalot replacing Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw returns to his preferred role at left-back. Lisandro Martinez will partner Lindelof at the back.

Marcel Sabitzer starts in midfield and will hope to recieve sufficient support from Fred and Bruno Fernandes.

The front three will consist of Marcus Rashford, Wout Weghorst and Anthony Elanga.

Manchester United XI: De Gea; Dalot, Lindelof, Martinez, Shaw; Sabitzer, Fred, Fernandes; Garnacho, Weghorst, Rashford.
