David de Gea knew how strong the rivalry was during yesterday’s clash against Leeds and took his opportunity to goad the home supporters after Manchester United sealed the win.
It took around 80 minutes for the Red Devils to get into gear at Elland Road on Sunday and it was none other than United talisman Marcus Rashford who headed home to open the scoring – his second headed goal in two games.
Substitute Alejandro Garnacho had a point to prove when he entered the game in the second half and went on to silence all his doubters; he netted an outstanding goal to secure all three points for the Reds in a must-win away clash.
De Gea was positioned perfectly in front of The Whites’ fans to celebrate Garnacho’s winner, making them furious as their side finished the match even closer to the relegation zone.
