(Video) Alejandro Garnacho doubles Man United lead to secure victory over Leeds United

Manchester United have battled through a hard-fought 90 minutes at Elland Road but the three points are coming back to Old Trafford after a dramatic end to the game.

United came close to breaking the deadlock on a number of occasions, with Bruno Fernandes’ first-half chance almost giving Erik ten Hag’s men a half-time advantage.

After the interval, Diogo Dalot struck the crossbar with a deadly effort. It looked like it was not going to be United’s day but then, the man of the moment turned up to rescue the Reds once more.

Marcus Rashford’s unstoppable header with roughly 10 minutes to play gave United the lead and just moments later, Alejandro Garnacho doubled the advantage, as seen below.

The young Argentine replaced Jadon Sancho after roughly an hour and he is continuing to be a threat off the bench. He latched onto Wout Weghorst’s pass before slotting the ball in at the near post.

The result now takes United into second place in the Premier League, with Manchester City playing later on Sunday.
