Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez had a bit of a coming together with Leeds striker Patrick Bamford on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils forced a comeback to avoid defeat against Leeds at Old Trafford. Two goals in the second half from Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho secured a point, although we can’t help but agree with Bruno Fernandes’ assessment of it being two points dropped.
Things got a bit heated in the first-half just like you would expect from any derby match. The video below shows how Lisandro Martinez twice made contact with Bamford’s head.

While both players were on the ground following a collision, Martinez swung his heel towards Bamford and clipped his chin before catching him with his studs just above the back of his next.
You’ve come to the wrong place if you are expecting sympathy for Bamford.
Luckily, the referee took no action which may come as a surprise since they sent off Casemiro for less at the weekend.
Man Utd get away with blue murder
Of course there would be no sympathy for Bamford here. What do you expect to get from a cheating scum website?
Thanks for your comment Rex. We all hate Leeds…
The other way around would have been a red card, if not today would definitely be issued retroactively. It doesn’t take a genius to see how both contacts were without a doubt intentional.
