Man United and Liverpool interested in 24-year-old striker valued at £89m

Manchester United and arch-rivals Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt.

That’s according to a recent report from L’Equipe, who claims the in-form France international is attracting interest from two of the Premier League’s biggest teams.

Kolo Muani, 24, had been a relatively under-the-radar striker but after being called up to represent Les Bleus in place of Karim Benzema by Didier Deschamps during last year’s winter World Cup in Qatar, the young forward has seen his stock rise.

In fine form for Eintracht, Kolo Muani, who only joined the German side on a free transfer from Nantes last summer, has already bagged 12 goals, in all competitions, including two in the Champions League.

Following what has been an impressive breakthrough in one of Europe’s biggest leagues, Kolo Muani could be heading to the Premier League.

However, with just over four years left on his contract, Eintracht will be in no rush to sell, so the Bundesliga side will feel they can slap a sky-high price tag on their number nine, and according to these latest reports, that is exactly what they have done.

Understood to value the 24-year-old at a whopping £89m, if United or Liverpool are serious about bringing the 24-year-old Frenchman to England, they will probably need to find a way to lower Eintracht’s demands.
