Sabitzer to make debut: predicted Man United line-up vs Crystal Palace

Manchester United are aiming to get back to winning ways in the Premier League this weekend as they welcome Crystal Palace to Old Trafford.

Patrick Vieira’s men put an end to United’s long winning run since club football was resumed late last year, with Michael Olise’s last-gasp equaliser earning the Eagles a point in the reverse fixture last month.

Since then, Erik ten Hag has been forced into a series of changes to his side. Wout Weghorst made his debut for the club in that game and the Dutchman has started every game since. He is expected to lead the line again this weekend despite Anthony Martial’s goalscoring return against Nottingham Forest earlier this week.

Jadon Sancho, who had not featured for the club since October, also made his return in that game and he is expected to be named on the bench.

Christian Eriksen registered his seventh assist of the season in the 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park but the Danish international will not be available this time following a serious ankle injury.

Instead, January loan signing Marcel Sabitzer could be in line to make his debut for the Reds after Ten Hag admitted that the Austrian was ready.

Sabitzer was in attendance to watch United beat Nottingham Forest on Wednesday and the former RB Leipzig star has trained with his new team-mates.

Predicted Manchester United line-up (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Shaw; Casemiro, Sabitzer; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Weghorst
