Marcus Rashford wins Premier League POTM award for January

Marcus Rashford has won January’s EA SPORTS Player of the Month award for January.

The Manchester United forward now has two Premier League POTM awards this season as he continued his incredible form with three goals in four matches.

Rashford, 25, scored in a 3-0 win over Bournemouth before adding a late winner in the Manchester derby to his tally for the season. A strike from distance against Arsenal is the pick of the lot after being nominated for the January Budweiser Goal of the Month award.

This type of form has seen Rashford rise up the goalscoring charts and Erik ten Hag has gone on record to say he is unstoppable on the left flank. England manager Gareth Southgate still doesn’t want to admit that he was wrong not to start him in more games at the Qatar World Cup, but let’s not complain about that because United have benefited as a result.

Rashford was also nominated for December’s award, along with United team-mate Casemiro, but they lost out to Arsenal skipper Martin Odegaard.

To win the Premier League POTM award in January, ashford topped a seven-man shortlist that included Dan Burn, Brennan Johnson, Riyad Mahrez, Sally March, David Ray and Bukayo Saka.

Here’s to a big February!
