League Two side Newport County are ‘in talks’ with Manchester United to sign academy striker Charlie McNeill.
That’s according to a report by TEAMtalk and it is believed that the 19-year-old wants to leave Old Trafford on loan ahead of Tuesday night’s 11pm transfer deadline.
The move could see McNeill gain some much-needed first-team experience and that will hopefully stand him in good stead for the future.
McNeill made his Manchester United debut earlier this season against Real Sociedad in the Europa League, but he is now looking to make the next step in his career – to become a first team regular.
