Manchester United recieve 10 loan offers for academy graduate

The prospect of signing Anthony Elanga on loan for the remainder of the season appeals to a number of clubs, however, Manchester United have yet to make a decision on the young forward.

The 20-year-old has failed to make an impact this season, but it is also clear that Erik ten Hag views him as a squad player for the time being.

It is believed that Borussia Dortmund and PSV Eindhoven are among the clubs interested, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, but the Red Devils are yet to give the green light to any of the 10 offers they’ve received.

Romano tweeted: “Manchester United received 10 (!) proposals to sign Anthony Elanga on loan – PSV Eindhoven are pushing after Borussia Dortmund request. No green light from Manchester United as of now, decision to be made in final 24/48h.”

Elanga is finding it hard to get into the team since the arrival of Antony, and there is no way he is getting in ahead of Marcus Rashford this season. His game time has been cut since last term following the emergence of Alejandro Garnacho.

On another note, Ten Hag stressed that Facundo Pellistri is set to stay rather than go on loan.

The Sweden international has made 20 appearances this season but registered just two assists in that time. Maybe he would benefit from a loan spell as well as increase his market value.
