Manchester United fans are fearing the worst when it comes to Christian Eriksen’s injury.
The Denmark international had to be withdrawn during the second half against Reading on Saturday night. Manchester United won the game 3-1 to reach the FA Cup fifth round, but that doesn’t change the fact we were dealt a blow with Eriksen’s injury.
Eriksen headed straight down the tunnel when he was replaced by Fred and he was later filmed on crutches outside Old Trafford.
Fans are bound to be concerned that we could be without Eriksen for a while given how integral he has been to the side’s upturn in form this season. Many have took to social media to wish the midfielder well in his recovery, with some demanding action in the transfer market.
Wish Eriksen a speedy recovery. We still need him in the team he is very important

Just to be clear on this Eriksen was injured by a dangerous tackle last night and in no way was it associated with how much football he has played. Manager isn’t accountable for Carroll deciding he wanted to deliberately fly into tackles last night.

United might genuinely be in trouble in February. No money to spend, one of the toughest fixture lists in recent history and no Eriksen means no midfield depth at all. https://t.co/nVyuWbVEmL

Christian Eriksen left Old Trafford on crutches last night. The need for another loan deal or two is huge. Big few days in the market that could potentially make/break the season. #MUFC

Eriksen on crutches, Fred with Casemiro behind Bruno has been very good recently and performed well in big games too. I’m not too worried about it as that midfield 3 are also our 3 fittest players.

Hope Eriksen's injury isn't bad. This is the problem with a paper thin squad that we have. We have NO ONE else that can play that role. So frustrating. #MUFC pic.twitter.com/94NXP3vQdL

Eriksen left on crutches, McTominay apparently took a knock in training, Van de beek just had an operation.
We're a Casemiro injury away from having a disaster second half of the season.
Ten Hag needs help from the board with signings.

Ten Hag wasn’t able to give any update on Eriksen’s injury after the match, so we can only presume they will be running tests on it over the next week.
