Manchester United can be happy with their 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night, but Roy Keane singled out one player for additional praise.
Look no further than Lisandro Martinez.
It won’t surprise you to hear that Keane is fond of Martinez because of how he conducts himself as a defender. The Argentine loves the art of defending and he’s as hard as nails.
Keane probably watches Martinez and thinks he would have enjoyed having him as a team-mate.
“He’s got pride in his defending. He’s a lad you want to be in the trenches with,” Keane told Sky Sports.
