Five players who have copied Marcus Rashford’s signature celebration

Marcus Rashford’s sensational form has taken the world by storm and with the goals has come a new signature celebration.

The finger to the head celebration has caught the eye of supporters and players, so much so, that several have paid homage to the Manchester United star after scoring themselves.

Whilst the 25-year-old was not the first player to do it, he has certainly made it a trend over the past few months and is the reason it has become so iconic.

1. Joshua Kimmich

The German international is the most recent player to do Rashford’s trademark pose. He did it last night after netting a wonder strike against Koln to pick up a crucial point from the Bundesliga clash.

2. Tammy Abraham

Rashford’s fellow England international Abraham paid homage to his friend after finding the back of the net for AS Roma. He even commented on United’s No.10’s Instagram, saying: “Learning from you bro.”

3. Danny Welbeck

A former Red perhaps offered the most iconic variation of the celebration, as he did it after scoring Brighton and Hove Albion’s third against Liverpool recently. The two ex-teammates had an interaction on Twitter after the match.

4. Armando Dobra

Rashford posted the Chesterfield player’s celebration on his Instagram story after Dobra scored against West Brom in the FA Cup.

5. Bukayo Saka

Perhaps Saka did not replicate it most respectfully, as it came against United on Sunday when the Reds travelled to the Emirates to face Arsenal.  However, the pair are clearly friends given their time spent together for England, so it’s unlikely the Gunners forward did it to mock Rashford.
