Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be keeping an eye on Roma forward Nicolo Zaniolo.

Roma manager Jose Mourinho recently confirmed that the 23-year-old had requested a transfer, although nothing has materialised just yet.

Speaking about Zaniolo’s future, Mourinho has said: “Nicolo Zaniolo has asked to leave the club — but I am not sure that it’s gonna happen. Current proposals are not enough.

“We only need a good proposal to let Zaniolo leave, and we’ve not received it. My feeling is that at the end, he will stay.”

Reports in Italy suggest Roma are looking for a transfer fee in the region of £35m for Zaniolo, who has less than 18 months left on his current deal.

Italian publication AreaNapoli claims Zaniolo has been offered to Manchester United and PSG in recent weeks.

Zaniolo has just two goals and one assist to his name this season.
