(Video) Ten Hag identifies one element of Garnacho’s game that sets him aside from other players

Erik ten Hag has identified one element of youngster Alejandro Garnacho’s game that sets him aside from other players in the Premier League.

The 18-year-old is continuing to impress having broken into the Manchester United first team this season, so much so that the club is in talks with his representatives regarding a new and improved deal to tie down his future at Old Trafford.

Garnacho is like a breath of fresh air for United supporters due to his ability to play with no fear and high confidence despite still settling into the senior setup. He has two goals and five assists to his name so far, with the latest contribution coming on Saturday against Manchester City, when he became the youngest player in Premier League history to assist a goal in the Manchester derby.

Ten Hag’s praise for Garnacho

Ten Hag outlined one key skill Garnacho boasts, saying (via Football Daily): “I don’t see that many players, even in the Premier League, have that skill – he beats players one on one.”
