Has Marcus Rashford been hit with the World Cup effect?
In short, I would say no because Rashford has been playing well all season. We have seen an almighty improvement since last season when it looked like his future at the club was in doubt.
Ralf Rangnick wasn’t manager for very long but he made it clear that he didn’t fancy Rashford. As a result, the player’s confidence disappeared and he looked a million miles off the player he was becoming before that back injury.
Rashford has 10 goals to his name for Manchester United this season – on top of the 3 he scored for England at the World Cup.
