Manchester United players have paid tribute following the death of footballing icon Pele.
The Brazilian is regarded as potentially the best footballer to have ever graced the game and is the reason so many players fell in love with the sport – a trailblazer.
He is the only player to have won a record three World Cups whilst representing Brazil, with his first one coming at the age of 17.
Pele scored over 1,000 goals in his career and his flair, dribbling and athleticism were second to none. Even without his exceptional striking ability, what he could do on the pitch was remarkable, take a look below:
Mesmo quando não há nenhum dos seus mais de mil gols, Pelé também deixa claro por que foi o maior jogador da história. O Rei do Futebol. pic.twitter.com/EGOGEEhMgE

It was confirmed yesterday that the former striker had passed away at the age of 82 after a long battle with cancer.
Since then, past and present players have joined together to pay their respects to a revolutionary icon that will be missed greatly.
