Manchester United are back in the Premier League and they have now won their last six games at Old Trafford – their best run at home since 2017.
Erik ten Hag’s men are improving with each passing week and when Nottingham Forest made the trip to Old Trafford for the resumption of the Premier League, it was a routine victory for the Reds.
Marcus Rashford, who scored his 10th goal of the season against Forest, was once again the star of the show. The 25-year-old has resurrected his career this season and Ten Hag reserved special praise for the winger after the game.

“It’s true, we are happy with him,” Ten Hag told NBC Sports Soccer when asked about Rashford’s sparkling form this season.
“He’s continually a threat for every defence. He’s running in behind, he has a magnificent shot, as you see. He’s also good in assist, as in counter-attack, he was incredibly good.
“I think he played a really strong match and he’s playing a good game and a good season. We hope he can still keep that progress going.”
Rashford has now been directly involved in 14 goals for United this season and will be aiming to reach the 20-goal mark for the third time in his career, having scored 20 or more goals in the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons.
With less than half of the season played, the exciting winger will fancy his chances of more than doubling his current tally of 10 strikes.
